Keith Holmes

At CABI, I am a PlantwisePlus programme Global Team leader and Crop Health Advisor. I work with local partners in low- to middle-income countries to help improve their agricultural practices. I am currently focused on enhancing existing agro-input dealer (pesticide retailers) training and developing new training schemes within mandatory government registration and certification guidelines of agro-input dealers.

I have over 30 years’ experience as a researcher and research manager in integrated pest management (IPM) and the use of conventional (chemical) and non-conventional (biocontrol agents, elicitors of induced resistance) control approaches, with a particular focus on fungal plant pathogens in temperate and tropical systems.
