We have brought together our expertise in plant health and diseases for users around the globe. Our new course is a self-study course in Crop Pest Diagnosis. This course is a beginner’s guide designed to help learners to diagnose pests, diseases and their symptoms in the field.
Module 1, symptoms, shows the typical symptoms you will encounter. Module 2, insects and mites, looks at the pests that cause plant damage. In module 3, causes, you will learn to recognise the common causes of many symptoms. In Module 4, nutrient deficiencies, you will learn to spot the symptoms associated with nutrient deficiency. In module 5, practising Diagnostics, you will learn exercises to help you practice and prepare for the Practitioner assessment. In the final module you will gain the Foundation or Practitioner certificate in Crop Pest Diagnosis.
