We are delighted to announce that the Rainforest Alliance’s frog logo is now visible on the CABI BioProtection Portal. Users will now observe it alongside a variety of biocontrol products permitted for use under the Rainforest Alliance certification program requirements on the CABI BioProtection Portal. The Rainforest Alliance’s little green frog is a symbol of environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
The Rainforest Alliance joined the CABI BioProtection Portal in 2021 as a sponsor. Following the sponsorship, we took the opportunity to work together more closely. Due to our collaboration, users browsing the portal will now encounter the Rainforest Alliance logo displayed alongside products that certified growers authorized by the Rainforest Alliance are allowed to use.
We have benefited greatly from our relationship with the Rainforest Alliance. Together, we have been working to enhance the functionality of the portal. Recently our users have been asking, via an on-site voting form, to see which products meet specific market standards. Our work with the Rainforest Alliance showing their certification compatibility is a strong start to addressing this.
Make sure to check out the Alliance’s widely known logo now displayed on compatible products. These include various products used on coffee in Brazil and on cocoa in Ghana, plus, many more.
