We are delighted to welcome Anatis Bioprotection as a new partner to the CABI BioProtection Portal. Based in Canada, Anatis Bioprotection produces, sells, and distributes over 30 biological products to combat pests. These include insects, mites, beneficial nematodes, and biopesticides.

Anatis Bioprotection specializes in effective ecological solutions to control insect and mite pests of horticultural, greenhouse and agricultural crops. Visitors of the CABI BioProtection Portal will be excited to know that they can now benefit from the company’s expertize in non-chemical pest control.

A portal to support the biological control of pests

The CABI BioProtection Portal is a ground-breaking information resource for the biological control of pests. The portal, available on four continents, assists growers and agricultural advisors. It helps them identify, source, and correctly apply biocontrol and biopesticide products against problematic pests in their crops. The portal caters to users’ needs, available in local languages, and accessible on multiple devices.

The partnership with Anatis Bioprotection follows the launch of the CABI BioProtection Portal in Canada and means that visitors to the portal will now have access to more detailed information about the company’s non-chemical pest control options. This helps to make it easier to identify the products most suited to their needs.

The portal is an innovative tool that helps users access up-to-date information on nationally registered and available bioprotection products. In so doing, it hopes to promote the awareness and uptake of more sustainable approaches to agriculture and horticulture worldwide.

Farmers and greenhouse growers benefit from Anatis Bioprotection’s expertise in biological pest control and agricultural biopesticides. The company joins partners, sponsors, and donors, becoming part of the portal’s Development Consortium. It guides the ongoing development of the CABI BioProtection Portal, including the addition of countries to the tool.

Dr Ulrich Kuhlmann, Executive Director, Global Operations at CABI said: “We are so pleased to welcome Anatis Bioprotection on board as our newest partner. Seeing our partner base grow is exciting, allowing us to expand the portal’s geographical coverage further. The increasing number of voices on the Development Consortium will also help guide the further development of the portal into an even richer and more impactful information resource.”
